Melissa Jackson currently serves as the ILL Librarian at the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University, a position she has served in since the Spring of 2000. She earned both her Bachelor's of Arts and Master's of Arts degrees from Florida State University (1990, 1992) and received her MLS degree from the University of South Florida (1996).

In her time at Georgia Southern, she has become proficient in Passport, Worldcat Resource Sharing and now the ILLiad software for her department. In addition, she is active on several LISTSERVs, including ILL-L and the ILLiad Workflow Toolkit list.

Ms. Jackson presented as a part of a group at ALA's Annual Meeting in 2012, been a panelist and presenter the 2017 OCLC Resource Sharing Conference and has also presented on her own at various regional conferences. She also served as a panelist at the 2018 OCLC Resource Sharing Conference.
